Definitely one of the toughest drives we’ve made, but worth it a thousand times over. Yosemite is unreal. I get why John Muir and Ansel Adams were so crazy about this place. We were there in fall and lucky to see any of the waterfalls since they normally dry up in the late summer. We explored. We got sick. We drove through a fire. We wanted to stay another week, but decided against it because it could snow any day, and the first place to get snow is Tioga Pass, which is the only way we could get out. We left on a Saturday and it was 90F, the next day it snowed on Tioga Pass.
