Big Bend has been on my radar for a few years now and I kept on trying to figure out the right time to go since it’s just so far from EVERYTHING. Well, not only did it work out that I could go without going a thousand miles out of my way, but some good friends were visiting there at the same time! We had some adventures in Big Bend, which is insanely huge and dangerous feeling. We also explored the (mostly) abandoned town of Terlingua. It’s the darkest part of the lower 48 states so the stars were amazing. I highly recommend making the effort to go out there if you can.
