As far as I know, this is the only National Park I had been to before we started this trip, and I didn’t even know what NPs were back then. So I sort of remembered this place, but not really? Also, I had only driven through, I hadn’t done any hikes. The weather was amazing when we arrived, but the next day was in the 90s because we brought the hot with us from New Orleans (we had been in New Orleans for the last 2 months, but I skipped that on here, I should write a short story about all the things that went wrong as we left). I also went out to our property outside of Asheville to see the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, and it was pretty bad. Last time I went there I thought that it would take a week of chopping trees to clear an area put stuff, now it’s going to require heavy machinery. I could definitely spend a lot longer exploring this area. Also went into Asheville, which was nice, but I didn’t take many pictures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
